The District School Board of Niagara serves students and families in all 12 municipalities that make up the Niagara Region. That’s an area larger than Barbados, Hong Kong or Singapore!
The DSBN also warmly welcomes students from across the globe. Our schools serve students from 38 different countries speaking 40 different languages.
We educate:
24,600 elementary school students and 14,850 secondary school students in our 95 public elementary schools and 20 public secondary schools.

We are governed by:
The District School Board of Niagara is governed by a board of 11 elected trustees. Trustees are elected from across the Niagara region once every four years.
Additionally, two student trustees are elected by their peers to attend all board meetings and represent the viewpoints, concerns and constructive suggestions of public school students.
