Specialist High Skills Majors (SHSM) programs help students put a
laser-like focus on their learning.
SHSMs are Ministry approved specialized programs that allow
students to concentrate their education on a specific economic sector while
meeting the requirements for their high school diploma. Students gain specific
skills and knowledge relevant to the career they are interested in pursuing.
Earning a SHSM also helps students make a smooth and

Currently, the DSBN offers 40 Specialist High Skills Majors programs in 10 different economic sectors:
Agriculture
