Criteria

- Ex-Service personnel or currently serving members of The Canadian Forces (Regular, Reserve, and Merchant Navy) and their children and grandchildren
- Commonwealth war veterans and their children and grandchildren
- Ordinary and Life member of the Royal Canadian Legion and their children and grandchildren
- Associate members of The Royal Canadian Legion and their children
- Ladies' Auxiliary members and their children and grandchildren
- Step children and step grandchildren may be considered where applicable
- must apply to OSAP for assistance
- entering or continuing post-secondary education, including courses and programs of a technical and vocational nature, outside of and beyond secondary school

Checklist

- application - available at local branch or from website
- proof of application to OSAP
- proof of parent/grandparent military war service
- university/college/apprenticeship - proof of acceptance
- proof of income for the parents/guardians of the applicant
