Criteria

- offered to children of a Unifor member in good standing
- student must be entering their first year of post-secondary education (university, college, technological institute, trades school, etc.) in a public Canadian institution
- those with disabilities, women, persons of colour and aboriginal Canadians are especially encouraged to apply
- letter of recommendation from a teacher, principal or community activist.
- your most current transcript/record of marks.
- application must be submitted using the online application form no later than June 10

Checklist

- submit proof of acceptance
- official application form (downloaded from website)
- A signed copy of the Local Union Officer form certifying your eligibility for a scholarship
- essay answers to questions on application form
- current transcript
- recommendation letter from a teacher or principal or community activist
