- balance of the bursaries are valued at $1,500 each.
* awarded to children/dependents of municipal employees and elected councillors.

Criteria
- open to children/dependents of current, fulltime, municipal employees & elected municipal Councillors in Ontario.
- graduate of secondary school in Ontario
- Ontario resident and Canadian citizen
- accepted and commit to entering an undergraduate engineering program (1st year) at a Canadian University as a full-time student.
- demonstrated an interest in, and contribution to, their community through active participation in extra curricular activities at their high school and/or in civic organizations
- demonstrate strong communication skills
- intend to pursue a career related to municipal engineering or public works as indicated or demonstrated through any applicable work experience and/or activities
- must be in final year of a secondary school program

- Applicant’s resume, including details of extracurricular activities & contributions to community;
- 300 & 500 word essays - go to website to see the topics
- a copy of the University Admission Offer Letters and/or any other supporting documents confirming enrolment & acceptance at an Ontario University (or equivalent) and your response to enter into an undergraduate engineering program as a full-time student
