Criteria

- Canadian citizen or permanent resident of Canada, regardless of age.
- excludes members Board of Directors, its employees, retained consultants, business associates, members of the Selection Committee, family members, previous winners.
- Essays will be judged on both subject matter & strength of written expression. Avoid technical & academic writing.
- Creativity and originality in writing styles and expression of ideas are essential.
