Criteria

- be a graduating student in a secondary school in Canada that is currently a member of CSLA
- have a minimum average of 70% over the last two years of study
- plan to attend an accredited Canadian post-secondary institution
- have demonstrated a capacity for student leadership by making significant contributions to his/her school and/or community
- have provided service throughout their secondary school experience

Checklist

- submit a student profile
- respond to a series of questions aligned with the Six Pillars of Leadership
- submit an endorsement by a teacher who provides an anecdotal description (maximum 500 words) of the student's contributions to student leadership in his/her school and/or community, and why he/she is deserving of a student leadership award
- transcript of marks for senior grades showing a standing of 70% or better
- proof of registration at post-secondary institution to receive award
