Criteria

- be graduating from a secondary school in the Niagara region in the current graduating year.
- be a Canadian citizen or a permanent resident of Canada.
- demonstrate strong academic achievement in one or more of the following courses: Visual Arts, Graphic Arts, Design, and Family and Life Sciences
- be involved in school and community activities.
- be registered in a Canadian Post-Secondary institution and indicate the program of study in which they are enrolled.

Checklist

- complete application form signed by applicant and Principal or Vice-Principal
- list of extra-curricular school activities
- transcript
- essay (typed 350-500 words) on the topic of "Textile/Fibre Arts as a Life Skill and/or Career"
- name and contact information of 2 references (not immediate family members)
