Criteria

- graduate of a secondary school in the Niagara Region
- continuing with post-secondary education in the area of Fine Art, Art History, Visual Art, or Design, with an interest in textile/fibre arts as a Career/Life Skill
- must be a Canadian citizen
- must show personal growth and leadership in school and community activities
- proof of acceptance in a Canadian Post-Secondary Institution
- must have attained 75 merit points or more (more information on application form)

Checklist

- complete application form signed by applicant and Principal or Vice-Principal
- list of extra-curricular school activities
- transcript
- essay (typed 350-500 words) on the topic of "Textile/Fibre Arts as a Life Skill and/or Career"
- name and contact information of 2 references (not immediate family members)
