Criteria
Any woman who is an active member of Girl Guides of Canada and who is pursuing further education at a Canadian institution may apply.
- Applicants must be currently registered* GGC members.
- Scholarships are conditional on acceptance or continuation at a recognized post-secondary institution in a full or part-time program. This includes universities, colleges and vocational schools where high school completion is the normal entrance requirement (unless entering as an adult student).
- Recipients are expected to make reasonable efforts to continue their involvement in Guiding.
Checklist
A personal statement on Guiding; 2 letters of recommendation; Guiding history; volunteer work outside of Guiding; list of additional interests; transcript; employment history.
