What Does This Program Offer?
The Self Study program allows students to complete courses at home, at their own pace. Students can take up to 12 months to complete a course. Credits can be earned towards completing a diploma or prerequisites for College or University.
What if I am working towards my high school diploma?
Students working towards their high school diploma will need a transcript from their last high school attended
An appointment for an assessment will need to be made for either the Niagara Falls or the St. Catharines Self Study location. You may call the Lifetime Learning office at (905) 687-7000 Monday to Friday 9:00 am to 3:00 pm to book an appointment
What happens on the last day of Self Study?
The last day of Self Study is the last day that students can hand in completed lessons or write exams for that school year.
How long do I have to complete a course?
Students have one year to complete the course from time of registration. Students who do not complete courses by the last day of Self Study will keep the books until the first scheduled day of the Self Study program of the following school year.
How can I get a copy of my transcript asap?
The Records and Archives Services page has been created to assist requesters on the process to follow in accessing a variety of documents. These requests can be made by current students, students who have been out of school for LESS THAN FIVE YEARS, and for INACTIVE students that have been out of school for FIVE YEARS OR MORE.
