The DSBN's Long Term Accommodation Plan (LTAP) is a comprehensive planning document that details the current and future state of the District School Board of Niagara’s (DSBN) elementary and secondary panels and presents possible accommodation solutions for schools that are experiencing challenges due to enrolment, facility utilization, programming, etc. The LTAP illustrates enrolment trends over the next 10 years, the utilization of facilities, school planning area profiles, as well as the factors that influence education trends in Niagara (i.e. population demographic profiles, growth patterns, program offerings, birth rates, etc.).
The current LTAP was presented to the DSBN Board of Trustees in June 2023. A comprehensive review and update of the LTAP will occur every four years. In the interim, general annual updates will be prepared to detail any significant changes that may affect the LTAP information.
