What are dual credit programs?

Dual credit programs are ministry-approved programs that allow students, while they are still in secondary school or continuing education, to take college or apprenticeship courses that count towards both the Ontario Secondary School Diploma (OSSD) and a postsecondary certificate, diploma, or degree, or an apprenticeship certification. Students may earn up to four optional credits through college-delivered courses

Niagara Link
This program (age 17-20) composed of secondary school courses and college credits, both are delivered at Niagara College. The secondary school courses are taught by secondary school teachers, and the college credits are taught by a Niagara College professor.

Dual Credit
Dual Credit courses allow secondary school students( age 16-20) to take courses that count towards both their high school diploma and a post-secondary certificate or diploma. Students complete secondary school classes at their high school and attend Niagara College to complete their college credits.
