The "Broken Spoke" program at Port Colborne High School hit a major milestone recently. The bicycle donation program has now donated more than 5000 bikes those in need.
Two DSBN educators are recipients of the Brightspace Excellence Awards from D2L. Rob Dunlop, Blended Learning Resource Teacher, and Jim Reschke, DSBN eLearning Coordinator were presented with the award in July.

DSBN Trustees concluded the West Niagara Accommodation Review by approving the construction of a new secondary school. The build will result in the closures of Grimsby Secondary (GSS), Beamsville District (BDSS), and South Lincoln High School (SLHS).
Over three thousand students will put their skills to the test at the 19th annual DSBN Technological Skills Challenges taking place over the next two weeks. Students will be showcasing their abilities in 30 different challenges. Events include everything from baking to construction, graphic design and welding.
