Computer Studies Part 1 AQ

Course Details:

The Computer Studies Part 1 AQ is designed for teachers who want to teach Computer Studies or for teachers who want to be better prepared to implement computer coding in their curriculum area.

Candidates learn the fundamentals of Computer Studies following the same approach that they will use in the classroom. By combining instruction in computer programming and a pedagogical approach to teaching computer science, teacher candidates will be equipped with tools and resources for effective computer studies instruction. Candidates explore methods of assessment and evaluation using a project-based approach with a focus on empowering students to solve problems they find important.
