What is a Heating, Ventilating and Air Conditioning Technician?

An HVAC Technician works on heating and cooling systems in residential, industrial, commercial, and institutional settings. They plan, lay out, install, start-up, connect, maintain, services, repairs, tests, verifies, commissions and decommissions  systems, electronic components and their accessories. They also install and connect piping. 

What will I be learning?

In this project, you will be learning to cut and form copper tubing, one of the tasks an HVAC Technician completes in their work. You will use a tubing cutter and bender to form a cell phone stand or other creation of your design.

Snap a picture of your completed project and of the activity sheet to be entered to win exciting prizes. When you’re done, the tools and materials are yours to keep.
