Adult Literacy & Basic Skills


 

What We Do:

The Literacy & Basic Skills program is a free service to help adults 18+ gain skills for employment, education, and independence. It is for learners of all abilities with specialized support for people with learning disabilities, developmental disabilities, autism. All services are also offered in American Sign Language (ASL) for the Deaf, Deafened, and Hard of Hearing.

Who You Are:

  • Want to build employment skills or help finding a job
  • Want to prepare for your OSSD or post-secondary
  • Want to improve your life, independence or social skills

What We Offer:

  • In-person classes with up to 10 individuals
  • Continuous intake and start date (start as soon as you're ready!)
  • No referral necessary
