                                    Introduction to Sphero Ball and Coding


Training Day
: 2 -  3 -  100-minute blocks

Grade Level:  4-8

Unit Overview:  Learn to synchronize sphero robots and control their movements with the sphero Edu app. Explore nonstandard measurement, designing with a purpose and using sensors and advanced programming.  This training will prepare you for future exploration with sphero.  After our visit you will be left with the tools and materials ( including sphero and iPad)  to complete other robotics activities with your class.

School Requirements:  Provide a work area such as Learning Commons or                  .                                        Classroom.

Materials and Technology:  All materials and technology provided by DSBN Makers 
note: You may require a few touch screen devices for follow up activities.
